(#15) Catharsis

The ice begins to melt away
The little streams, droplets, they craft
A sparkling silver mirror in the sun
The flowers paint the water flamboyantly.

The bright sky, where is your starting point?
Plain and simple, the monochromic wallpaper
Floods God's canvas-
There are no boundaries

When you no longer stare at the heavens through
An iron square
Suddenly the clouds look like cotton.
The breeze comforts my war-torn face,

The cool air, defibrillator
You bring a body to life once again.
Nobody told you to lie, and your foolery
Invokes a new reason for my existence.

The Dove circled above my room and gave me back a heart-

I am new again.
